Best Hair Frizz Control Product?

By Money F Posted in: Money

I have a ton of really thick, course, fairly curly (strawberry blonde) hair that is pretty frizzy even in the dry climate of my home state, Montana. We just came down to Florida and my hair is out of control from the humidity! We will be here for a couple months so I need something to control the frizz both here and in Montana. It would also be nice if it good make my hair a little softer and sleeker instead of the course, dry looking hair I have now. But I know I can’t ask for too much. :) I really don’t want to spend a ton of money on it either. Preferably $10 or less. Here are a few products I had looked into:
1. Suave Professionals Healthy Curls Anti-Frizz Cream
2. Suave frizz control gel
3. Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti- Frizz Serum
Are any of these products good for my hair type? Or is there a different product you prefer? Thanks everyone!

I am here to save you! I have bought every kind of product out there, cheap and expensive and I have found my FAVORITE products that transform my dull, dry, damaged, brittle hair to soft, and silky hair. First off… I hate spending a lot of money on products but here what I use, a mix of cheap and expensive because I have found what works. Treseme Smooth & Silky Shampoo and Conditioner ($3-$4 a bottle) and Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum (can only be purchased at a cosmetic or beauty supply store, I the medium size bottle at Ulta for $17. The small travel size is like $6 which you can buy just to try). The serum smells sooo good. If I am blowdrying and straightening I use 3 pumps on my long thick hair when it is wet and then 1/2-1 pump after I blow dry it to smooth everything over. If I am scrunching my hair (with a baseball size amount of Herbal Essence Totally Twisted mousse), I scrunch with mousse first (onto soaking wet hair that I parted and brushed) and then scrunch in 1 pump of the serum. Makes my curls soft and eliminates the frizz.

I have tried tone of products. Some don’t work, others cause grease, I can’t recommend any heap options, but Bedhead brand has a product called dumb blonde(don’t know why it’s called that) its round, shiny pink lid. Smells really amazing! Just a tiny amount smoothed my hair for the whole day. If you can’t find in stores, try a hair salon that sells Bedhead products!!

If you go to CVS or Target, go to the Hair section. Then either look for a “Spray Conditioner” or a “Frizz Control Oil”. These really helped me. :)

Avon has the best frizz control products that I have found for my daughter. She also has very thick, curly hair that was always getting frizzy. Avon has a product called Advance Techniques Lotus Shield Frizz Control. Start with the Frizz Control Shampoo and Conditioner and then apply the Lotus Shield on your hair while it is still wet. The Lotus Shield has been awarded the Cosmopolitan Beauty Award and the Latina Beauty Award. It is currently on sale for $9.99. My daughter loves it! You can read customer reviews and order it from my Avon web store at http://www.AvonMom.com Avon has a money back guarantee, so if it doesn’t work for just give contact them.
