Im Confused! My Husband Left Me, But He’s Mad Cause Im With Someone Else! What Should I Do?

I haven’t seen my husband since April of 2006! He left me 3 weeks after I almost died bringing our son into the world! (He is 5 years younger than me, and she is 17 years older than me! And she told him if he left me, she would take care of him! I DON’T BLAME HER, HE’S THE STUPID ONE!) His reason for leaving me was cause, I was a b**** when I was pregnant, and I was on total bed rest and wouldn’t work!
I really loved him (I was stupid) and I didn’t date until I met this wonderful man in January of 2010. We are in love and he is happy, and I am the happiest that I have ever been, I feel so loved and for once appreciated!!!
Well I decided that I WAS NOT going to pay for a divorce. Not because I want to be mean to him, but I was in a very bad car accident that disabled me totally! (I used to be over 18 photography studios) AND I JUST DON’T HAVE THE MONEY.
HIM AND HIS “FIANCEE” AS HE CALLS HER, HAD A BABY. BUT HE FOUND OUT ABOUT ME AND MY BOYFRIEND, AND HE LOST IT. HE TOLD ME THAT I WAS CHEATING ON HIM AND COMMITTING ADULTERY, AND HE WAS GOING TO GET HALF MY SETTLEMENT MONEY CAUSE I WAS CHEATING.
What should I do. I don’t have enough money for a lawyer! Does anyone have any answers for me! Please HELP!!!!!!

    Wow. He sounds like an idiot. Remain calm with him. Tell him that if he wants a divorce so bad him and his “fiance” can pay for it. And if anyone was “cheating” it was him. He got her first. Stay with your love and I’d probably work on getting a lawyer. Good luck!

    if he tries to get your half settlement and all that i don’t think it would be a good idea for him either because he actually has a kid with his “fiancee” and you you’re just with the guy you love. so the one who basically cheated is him! he shouldnt be getting mad he’s the one who left so why does he care now?

    Tell him to f*** off. He can’t file a lawsuit against you for “committing adultery” if he’s currently engaged to someone else (not to mention has a baby with them).

    go to court and do the right thing. u need a divorce no matter what the cost. he will hav to pay child support and in the end it benefits u i promise!

    You need to be legally separated. Your courthouse can tell you how. I suggest you contact legal aid, though you may have to wait for action. Has he ever paid child support? In this state the state/Dept of Social Services will help track him down and make him give you back pay–that may give you leverage to use. Many lawyers will give you a first time free appointment to see if you have a case, try it for some free advice. Call offices and ask, they can only say no. Good luck.
