I got married at the court house just over 2 weeks ago. My husband and I decided to do it the night before to just get the formalities out of the way. We didn’t have money for a big, well-to-do wedding, so we came to the decision to do the court house thing and have a renewing of our vows ceremony as a replacement for the big wedding I didn’t get. He wants me to have a bridal shower and bachelorette party before the big ceremony and have the experience I never got. I agree. I want these things. However, I’m getting ridiculed for it by others. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with doing the same thing others do, just in a different order? I mean, people have kids and whatnot before marriage… What’s wrong with doing things a little different?

I can’t leave home too often at various times to go to school. I have two kids, n hubby cannot drive medically. Maybe online or night school. Maybe a degree in education, if so whats more in demand? Special ed or which subject? Any other ideas. Need to make 2500+ mo in near future (2 yrs).

I have a friend that told me, not to long ago, about transcription work he was doing online. Through this work he was earning $3 per bundle with the option of doing as many bundles as he could do. I have lost contact with this internet friend of mine but I am just curious if anyone knows where I could get this job. I think he said they transcribed people saying things like “Where is Domino’s Pizza”. Do any of you know where i could get this job or one similar to it?

American Public University is a pretty well known college. APU is connected to AMU, the college for the military. The military mostly earn degrees from online colleges and they get to use their GI Bill to pay for it.
Well, I was pretty lucky to get accepted to ITT Tech and graduate. I have about $50k in debt from ITT Tech but lived at home when I was in college so I saved a lot of money. Now I am trying to get a job in management and need to live on my own.
I can’t afford to get my bachelor’s at ITT Tech, MIT, Harvard or any of the other expensive for profit schools. APU is pretty affordable and can be done fully online.
APU’s BA in Political Science would only be $15,000 if all of my credits from ITT Tech transfer. Being a BA in Political Science I could be a politician or perhaps work on a political campaign.
