What Would I Need To Do To Become A Therapist?

I’m in Scotland right now, that helps because of all the different requirements, but I want to move to America with this job. I’m at college right now and 16.
At college right now, Im doing an intro course, I then move up to highers then a HND, that stands for higher national diploma, it says online that its considered just as importand as the first 2 years on uni, earning a HND would give me the oppertunity to go into year three at university or year 2 at an other. I think giving
I understand that I need to do a PHD. I have lots of different questions about that.
- How long does that take?
- What do I need to do to get that?

Penn State University – Scholarship Opportunities?

Ok, I know this question has most likely been asked before, but I’m looking for some [hopefully] easy assistance.
Getting any money from Penn State is incredibly difficult, and I’m well aware of that. However, I know there is a little money available – and that there are a few big trust/fellowship scholarships. My teacher had a niece who somehow won herself a full ride [not a clue how], and I had a friend who won some decent cash as well.
Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone had information on scholarships [or anything similar] I could look at as a high school student who will be a senior next year, and is considering Penn State. Are there any big scholarships I might be eligible for? I’m not a minority, so no go on those scholarships, but I do have a 1400 (2040 overall) SAT currently that I’m expecting to rise to a 1450-1500, and my GPA will break 100 percent before I graduate. My ACT results aren’t with me yet, but I’m hoping for around a 33 at least. I participate in plenty of community activities, clubs, etc. I’m really willing to work hard to get to a good college, and I’d really love to attend PSU [maybe without 40k of debt], so any advice at all would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Have You Just Given Up On America?

The American Dream is dead. Freedom is just hallucination we’re all living. Truthfully, we’re being run down to the ground because our government is so corrupt on so many levels, it’s not even amusing anymore. Not only do they not care about their people, their willing to destroy all our freedoms and the constitution in the name of “terror”, which is their code word for money. The great Nation we once were is GONE. Nobody cares enough to protest this, and even if they did, there are anti-protest laws now to stop us. The media isn’t impartial and anyone who brings up the fascist direction we’re going in, they’re called a crazy conspiracy theorist. Is it any wonder that most people don’t trust the government?
Totalitarianism anyone?

Where Can I Cash In Old Quarters, Dimes, Nickels, Pennies?

Ok so my grandpa gave me a entire ice chest of mostly quarters and dimes, but a few hundred nickels and a few bags of pennies. But most of the coins are in the 60’s or earlier. I went to coin star and it didn’t take one coin. I don’t know if it was just that coin star or what. Where can I take these? And they arent fake so don’t give me any of that.

If The Fed Had Not Deeply Contracted The Money Supply In 1929, Would The Banking Crises Have Happened?

If they hadn’t contracted the money supply so much, the bank runs wouldn’t have been as devastating as they were. If we hadn’t been on a system of fractional reserve banking, we might not have had the crisis either.

Is It A Myth Or Can Devry And Itt Grads Become Military Officers?

Some people say they can while others say they cant but those online schools are accredited and each branch states that the perspective candidate must have a 4 year degree from an accredited institute. Which simply means a bachelor’s degree, I don’t think they want you to literally spend 4 full years there..lol. I know I knocked out my degree from VSU in 3 years.
Anyway when it comes to accreditation there are different kinds and there is a database that lists the accreditation of each school. ITT, UOP and devry fall under ”Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools” which means they are accredited
While other Universities like VT, Memphis state, NSU, UNC and so on fall under ‘Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges’
Each military branches’ websites doesn’t specifically say which council or commission the University and your degree must be accredited by. So technically a Devry grad with a bachelors degree can apply to OCS right?
And another problem I had with this issue is if these schools are just for profit schools and a scam then why would the GI Bill pay for a student to go there and why would the government offer student loans for student to go there? Also a lot of CNA’s come from ITT and qualify to take the NCLEX. So why shouldn’t the militarily recognize these schools when it comes to commissioning?
IMO its all about the quality of the education, just because a school has a big name and is accredited by the Association of colleges doesn’t mean they offer a better education than Devry that is accredited by the Council of independent colleges. Some classes I took at VSU were super easy while some classes a student took at ITT may have been super hard.
So thats how I look at it, I think they should be considered for a commission once they learned something and earned their degree
Thanks

Which Is More Radical And Dangerous, Free Market Capitalism Or Communism?

Communism is a system which would be entered into voluntarily by a group of people or nation.
AFter passing through the final stages of Socialism the people would agree to abandoning private property in favor of communality owned property.
It is supposed under Communism that work would be done toward a common goal, mostly the basics of life such as food, clothing. shelter, education, health care, entertainment ect.
And work would be assigned by common agreement under the idea of “To Each According To His Ability and To Each According To His Needs”.
But attempts at Communism are troubled by human nature, with some individuals jockeying for power and can result in Totalitarianism as in Stalinist Russia. A complete failure of Communism.
Free Market Capitalism
We don’t have Free Market Capitalism in the United States. A true Free Market would be free of any restraints by government and can only exist under a system on Anarchy, or the absense of government, called Anarcho-Capitalism by Libertarians.
Under this system, the Fed would end and banking would be private, lacking the feature of debt based money. (Ron Paul).
Services such as police, fire, health care and the military would be done by private companies, probably insurance companies. You would be free to purchase insurance protection or not. But of course costs would be higher if you waited to buy fire protection until your house was burning.
But this system might well lead to companies merging into giant conglomerates which would have unfair advantage, such as Walmart vs small hardware stores. And a danger would be present from firms like Blackwater XE, well armed and not under any regulation.
So both systems potentially lead to a disaster, either a Totalitarian Government of a system of War Lords charing you $50.00 for as aspirin or $5.00 per gallon for gasoline.
Wouldn’t a balanced system of somewhat Free Markets coupled with tax payer funded services be better.
It is called Democratic Socialism.

What Would Be The Best Courses To Take In College? What Degree Should I Seek?

I have a very strong desire to help people who are struggling. I recently discovered an area that a lot of people are having issues with (currently myself). I’ve worked for several non-profits before so i have an idea as to how they function but i’m not sure what courses I should take in school that will lead me to be able to start and operate one. I started in business but quit several years ago because of work. now i’m 27, laid off and want to get back into school. I don’t need to earn a lot of money, i would be happy just being able to provide a service for those who need it. I’m not trying to be lazy and ask people to look up stuff for me but i have had a hard time finding the information that i’m looking for online. any idea or info on the best plan of action would be appreciated. also any known websites that can provide information would be helpful as well. thank you!
