Why Was Amy Winehouse Unhappy?

   Contrary to popular belief there are many reasons why people use and misuse alcohol and drugs. It is not always because they are unhappy (although this is the most common misconception). Sometimes people have a genetic predisposition to an addictive gene (hence alcoholism sometimes runs in families), they just enjoy the pleasant state that drugs put them in (let’s be honest would anyone take drugs if they felt horrible?) I’m not saying that Amy Winehouse wasn’t unhappy and that is why she may have misused drugs but we shouldn’t assume that it was either.
